4.0 out of 5 stars Skip the game, use the figures
I bought ten packs of these to use as Christmas Tree ornaments and they're perfect. The packs were random enough that I got a good mix of different good guys and villains. The figures have enough detail that I can tell the characters just by looking - Mickey Smith, Sarah Jane, The Doctor, Werewolf, Cybermen, several Daleks, a few minor characters. All in all, perfect for...

3.0 out of 5 stars Cool, but lacking.
Being a Doctor Who fan, I thought this would be a fun game/collectible. The figures are small but fairly detailed for the size that they are. They look cool on a shelf. However, the game seemed lacking. The instructions are for quick play, basically you pick one of your figures to combat one of your opponents figures, spin a spinner, add the number to one on the bottom of...

This review is from: Doctor Who Micro-Universe Random Mini Game Figures (3 Pack) (Toy)
Being a Doctor Who fan, I thought this would be a fun game/collectible. The figures are small but fairly detailed for the size that they are. They look cool on a shelf. However, the game seemed lacking. The instructions are for quick play, basically you pick one of your figures to combat one of your opponents figures, spin a spinner, add the number to one on the bottom of the figure, and the highest value wins. There are different categories on the bottom to choose from and you spin the spinner(the TARDIS console - a clever idea)to give different outcomes, which is nice. But that's it. Additional instructions for a more advanced version of the game would have been nice. Also, I've bought several booster packs and from the sample I have the packs don't seem that random; that is I got two packs exactly the same and it doesn't seem that there is an equal chance of getting each figure. Overall, glad I bought them but I wish the game was better.

If you're looking to create some kind of Doctor Who display, these are just what you need.
