This review is from: Doctor Who - the Scripts: "The Tribe of Gum" (Dr Who Script Book Series) (Paperback)
The Tribe of Gum, the Scripts, first starts off with a few chapters on the background and the beginning of the series. Then after listing cast and crew, and having information about technical and production details, it goes right into the four episodes. All four episodes are here - The Unearthly Child, The Cave of Skulls, The Forest of Fear, and The Firemaker. These episodes would define where Doctor Who would go, as a show, for the next few years, before becoming pure sci-fi. It defines the characters, the ideas and the plots that the BBC would be looking for in the early years of the first Doctor.
