5.0 out of 5 stars Thomas Paine would approve June 24, 2010

I've followed Doc Zero at Hot Air and through his own blog, and he is one of the most clear-minded and compelling voices in the conservative movement. The sheer simple logic of his diagnoses for American political ills is irrefutable; the language he uses to describe them is utterly unique. Every article is rooted in the founding principles of this country: limited government, personal responsibility, and liberty as an innate God-given right, not an entitlement granted by politicians at their whim. This book should be required reading for every Civics class and every Government class nationwide.

Generations to come will look back at the healthcare debate and the passage of that God-awful bill as the turning point in American history: either as the moment when we finally recognized our danger and stepped back from the precipice, or the day that our political class, against the will of the vast majority of the American people, sold us into bondage that only begins with shackles of crippling national debt and ends with an intrusive and omnipresent government, tinkering endlessly with every facet of our lives.

Doc Zero's predictions about this disaster were timely and accurate from beginning to end, and it's only through thinkers and writers like him, inspiring his countrymen to take a stand to defend the freedom that is their birthright, that this country will again be what the founders intended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Clear and concise apologist....... February 23, 2011

John Hayward, i.e. "Doctor Zero" shows how clear and concise an argument for Conservatism can be.

Ideas that are usually stuck in the miasma of conflicting definitions of who we are and how our ideas germinated from our Founders are put forth in a way that is uncanny, entertaining and clear.

1.0 out of 5 stars A gold mine December 20, 2010
This book sets a new high for paranoia, false arguments and general disinformation. If you want to study the deformities of the right-wing mind, it is a gold mine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesomely Wordy July 23, 2010
No one, and I mean no one can say so little while using so many words as the good doctor. If shear volume of syllables somehow equated to meaningful thoughtfulness, this would be the definitive study of absolutely everything that has ever been.
