Doctor Who 5" scale figure of Grandma Connolly and the Wire (only the one figure - not the set of 6)

I am a Doctor Who collector and I purchased these action figures to round out my collections. I purchased two sets because I display them as well as keep them in their original packaging. I was very pleased with them and the detailing of the figures was perfect. The only trouble I had was trying to remove the head of the Grandmother figure. It was a bit tricky but it does come off so you can switch the heads and trying to keep the helmet on The Doctor. It dos stay on if you wiggle it a bit. I think my two favorites are The Black Dalek, which comes with little wheels so you can move it around, and The Tenth Doctor in the spacesuit.

All in all, these are very well made action figures and would be fun to play with. Or to display, if you're a fan of the show like I am.

The great thing about this figure is the extras that come with her. Grandma Connolly was not an influential character, did not have much to say. But she comes with old style TV with the face of 'The Wire' on it and the portable 'Wire' device that Magpie carried to the top of the tower -- which has a tiny partial view of the 'Wire'. And the swappable heads.

I did not get this to play with it. I am leaving it in its box. I enjoy looking at it. The detail on the figure is very good. And I find the form of the clear plastic packaging very cleverly done. The packaging looks almost like an art form in itself.
