I have used Doctor's Best Tryptophan from another company. I found it to be a very good product. I have also purchased tryptophan powder from other companies and they just were not the same, you can tell by the look of the powder, the taste and it's effectiveness. Doctor's Best was very effective at less than the recommended dose of 1 gram. I have used Ajinomoto's amino acid supplements from another company for over 10 years, trytophan was one of them. They are of the best quality I have used thus far and as I mentioned I have tried using other products but they just aren't the same quality. I am very picky after years of putting garbage into my body and damaging my liver making it almost necessary that I use amino acid supplements to promote the healing process.
I would recommend this product to my friends.

My doctor recommended tryptophan as a sleep aid. This is a good company and a great price--the comparable supplement in this amount sold with a prescription is $65!Unfortunately, though this works great for thousands of people, it didn't work for me.
