Thinking much clearer!,

My neurologist recommended this supplement starting with 2 a day and going to 3, along with vinpocetine 3 a day, to counteract the short term memory loss associated with taking topomax (prevents migraines.) I've taken these now for 4 months. It helped quite a bit until the dosage of topomax got too high. I stopped the topomax but have kept up the two supplements. I notice these supplements have cleared up some of my 63 year old foggy thinking and I am finding I am able to think more clearly on my feet which as a high school teacher is critical. My regular bridge partners commented on how much sharper my playing is! So that's outside confirmation. I've recommended it to several friends who are complaining of memory loss.

This product seems to work sometimes and not others. It seems to be best if taken with a vitamin B complex if taken for depression or better memory. I'm not sure if it is worth the money.

I've been using this product for a few months now. I keep telling myself it's helping, and maybe it is. However, the days I feel sharper are also the days I have better good night sleep. Therefore, whatever the level of help I'm getting from this supplement doesn't measure up to the benefits of a good night sleep.
I also did some research and found out that these supplements were originally made from pig brain. But because of the mad-cow disease concerns, they are now plant based. And there are some signs that the plant based version is not as effective as the pig brain version. Oh well, I guess I'll take a reduction in memory improvement over a potential of mad-cow syndrome. Another question is the quality and the amount of the supplement in this brand of capsule, or any other brand. Since there is no USP verification for Phosphatidyl Serine, we are at the mercy of the manufacturers. I wish an independent third party would sign up to this task.

Everybody that has a problem remembering where they hid their car keys or just plain short term memory loss should definitely try this product. Within two weeks of adding phosphatidyl serine to my daily supplement regimen I noticed that my memory had definitely approved. I also find myself having quicker response in conversation.

NOT SUITABLE FOR VEGETARIANS!,

Despite the claim, these softgels contain gelatin (made from hooves and bones) and are _NOT_ suitable for vegetarians.
