I had been diagnosed w/osteoporosis in a hip and osteopinia in my spine. (53 yrs. old) After five months of dealing w/side effects from the script my doc wanted me to continue taking, I went to my local natural products store.

On their recommendation I started taking Strongium Bone Maker (2 caps@night) coupled with New Chapter's Bone Strength Take Care (2 tablets@morning). I figured I'd give myself two years on this combo because that is how long it takes to show any difference in a bone scan. At the end of two years my spine showed an INCREASE of 8% in bone density (no more osteopenia!). My hip did not show improvement BUT there was no additional loss either! I did not exercise during that time. I have upped the morning dose to three tablets (the correct dose) and look forward to seeing Doctor's Best Strontium Bone Maker (340mg Elemental), 120-CountNew Chapter Bone Strength Take Care Val Pack, 144-count Boximprovment in two more years. I have had absolutely NO side effects from taking either of these items.

I've taken this product for one year and improved my bone density up to 7% (both spine and hips). No longer osteopenic. And no side effects. Why anyone would take those bisphosphonates with all the side effects (and expense) is beyond me. I'm very happy with Doctor's Best Strontium Bone Maker.

I am 67 years old and am taking Doctor's Best Strontium Bone Maker for about 2 1/2 years. When I began I had osteopenia in both my hips and spine. My hips were quite close to being at the osteoporosis level. After taking the Strontium for 6 months, I was scheduled for a bone density test. The density increased in both areas about 5%. Now, 2 years later, I took another bone density test. My spine is now perfectly normal, and the hips just have slight osteopenia. I had previously been taking medication prescribed by my doctor. There was minimal improvement and it was causing muscle pain so my doctor and I decided to discontinue it. The only thing different in my life since my bones have become more dense, is the addition of Stronium. I take it daily and so I have Amazon automatically send it to me every 2 months. The price is extremely reasonable and I always have it when I need it. I recommend this product to all of my peers.

A year ago I had my bone density done and I lost 1/4 in my height. Im 55. I was told that I was on the warning side of osteoporosis . I took the Strontium religiously and this year when I got my height checked....... I had not lost any more height. Im going to keep taking it in hopes that I can re gain the little bit of height I already lost.

My mom has been fighting with severe osteoroporosis for years. She is only 57 and it started at the age of 48 when her menapause started but she has been using blood thinners so they make her bone loss faster than usual. On her February 2010 dexa scan the doctor told us that she had the hip bones of a 71 years old and her spine showed dangereous density loss. He told us they may need to operate a surgery in a few years to support her spine with a chemical filling to avoid dangereous breaks that may end up with disability. She was using calcium carbonate+Vit D supplements and bisphosphonate drugs prescribed by the doctor for the last 6 years but they were not helping her to show any improvement. We were so so sad and helpless so we decided to give a chance to other options. First we switched her Calcium Carbonate+D supplements with Calcium Citrate+D ones(better in absorbtion). The she started to take this Strontium Citrate Supplement with Ipriflavone. She got only one capsule(half dose of advised)of each of them daily. Ipriflavone and Ca Citrate+Vit D in the morning, Strontium Citrate at night before bed. She was careful about balancing right amount of calcium and strontium and she never ate calcium rich meals at dinner so she would have at least 3-4 hours calcium free time before strontium. At the end of her first month she told me she was not feeling any pain at her spine and ribs at night. Her posture was also much better. She used them steadily for 3 months. Then started to rotate them. She took Ca Citrate+D and 1 tablet Ipriflavone one day, Ca Citrate+D and 1 capsule Strontium the next day. In May 2011 she had another Dexa scan and the doctor told us the bone loss did not only stop, the bone density of her spine increased 4% and her hip increased 3%!!!! He told us Strontium worked like a cement through her bones and strengthened them. Ipriflavone also gave her metabolism a fake impression that she was not in menapause and helped strontium building bones. I have never been a fan of over the counter supplements but this supplement is like a miracle. Just be sure to use it properly and ask for the advise of a doctor about it before you use it.

A great substitute for the very expensive prescription bone strengtheners. I have taken it about a year, with no side effects.

Mi experiencia: Mi medico a través de examen de Densitometria observó valores 2.1. y luego 2.2 me indico Fosamax 1 vxs, no vi progreso, tenia fuertes dolores desde zona cervical -lumbar (caderas), me entere de Strontium Bone Maker del Dr. Best y tengo 4 meses consumiéndolo, observo a este tiempo que hay mejoría ya que no presento dolores y tengo mejor sueño en Diciembre 2011 me repetire el examen de Densitometria osea, pero en todo caso este producto lo recomiendo, los dolores de antes no los tengo, creo que eso es buen síntoma y por eso hice y recibi mi último pedido del producto Dr. Best Strontium.

I was diagnosed w/osteoporosis about 7 yrs ago and was put on prescription med that I took once a week. After experiencing severe side effects for the past 5 yrs, I discontinued. After reading reviews on Amazon about Strontium I decided to try this. I've been taking it religiously for the past 8 weeks and am feeling much better. I take 2 caps@ night along with New Chapter's Bone Strength Take Care.

My doctor recommended this product to help boast my bone density. The product I purchased, Doctor's Best Strontium Bone Maker appears to be an excellent product. I have been taking it for about 3 weeks now and have not expericned any side effects.
It arrived very quickly and well packaged. I would recommend this seller and the product.
