Totally gross,

Not chick-lit. The main character may have a purse fetish, but I bet Bridget Jones never defecated in her's.

Not for the easily offended,
By K-Bright (South Euclid, OH United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Doctors & Nurses: A Novel (Paperback)
Forget my title comment... this book isn't for the offendable. It was strange, crude, disconnected and wonderful. If you have a taste for the quirky, read this book. I will never look at purses the same way again.

Another Crazyass novel by the wickedly funny Lucy Ellmann,

This review is from: Doctors & Nurses: A Novel (Paperback)
Wow...Lucy Ellmann is not for everyone, and I actually thought Dot in the Universe is a better book, but I still heartily recommend Doctors and Nurses. That said, this book is not for everyone. Ellman's over the top style and in your face grossness may freak out the weak of heart, but if you like very dark, biting humor this books is for you!

Repulsive,
This review is from: Doctors & Nurses: A Novel (Paperback)
This has to have been one of the worst books I've read in years. The writing was difficult to follow. The subject matter was offensive, and didn't come off as remotely funny. I was totally repulsed by this book.
