Wife in Name Only, but for how Long?,

Dr. Grey Thunder is the only doctor on the Smoke Valley Reservation in Vermont and because he's young and good looking he has a problem. It seems that a bevy of young women are all of a sudden developing various aches and pains and while our good doctor is trying to heal their fictional problems, they are trying to entice him into their beds, husband hunters all.Then he gets, what he thinks, is a genius of an idea. His new nurse Lori Young is on the run from a horrible ex-husband in California. She's pregnant and afraid. Grey figures if they marry in name only, it'll keep the single women off his back, plus it'll keep Lori's ex-husband at bay. However as things go, he's soon in love with Lori and ready to do battle when horrible hubby comes to town. But Lori is afraid, not of hubby, but of a dark secret in her past. You see now she's in love with Grey and she's afraid hubby will spill the beans and then she'll have no one. This was a very quick read and it kept me hanging on right to the end to find out what Lori's secret was. I was also on pins and needles, wondering how the confrontation would wind up when Lori's ex finally met up with Grey. A very nice romance. A Harlequin Dreamers Review by Vesta Irene
