A fine edition.,

The Doctrine of Fascism is an important text in understanding Italian Fascism, its basic principles and the ideas that re-shaped the world, for better or for worse, between the first and the second World War.
This edition, although seemingly fairly accurate and true to the original text, has a number of typos. Nothing serious enough to reduce the overall quality of the edition though. I highly recommend this text for anyone interested in understanding Fascism.

Very good book and easy to read. Reviews El Duce's ideas on Fascism in Italy and alot of the points are still very relevant here and now. He believed that every Crisis was a chance for the Dictator to make more progress against any personal decisions and that government should be involved in every business and company. Unions are also very important to him just as they are today to this administration. This book is for the History lover who does not want it to repeat itself.

Excerpt from "The Doctrine of Fascism."
"In order to understand the Fascist movement one must first apprehend the underlying phenomena in all its vastness and depth. In point of fact, Italian Fascism has not only been a political revolt against weak and incapable governments... but also a spiritual revolt against old ideas which had corrupted the sacred principles of religion, of faith, of country. Fascism, therefore, has been a revolt of the people."- Benito Mussolini

This book is composed of short excerpts from Mussolini's speeches, and it is a confusing mess. Mussolini was a disgruntled Communist, and apparently did not formulate a fascist theory. If this book is representative of the reality of fascism, it is amazing that many Americans were fascinated with him, and that Time magazine made him the person of the year.

Very prompt delivery and excellent condition. Thanks. This provided a great primary resource for my WW II research paper on the ideological struggle between Fascism and Communism.
