5.0 out of 5 stars go ASA & NSA
i found this very interesting and accurate. I was stationed at Phu Bi 8th Field Station. Enjoyed reading this 100%. It also showed how difficult it is when intercepting traffice, very easy to misinturpret.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very useful
The information on this cd-rom is not very well organized. Many of the links are broken. You are better off saving your money and doing goggle searches. The information on this cd-rom is not very well organized. Many of the links are broken. You are better off saving your money and doing goggle searches. Any one who had done any research in this area could find this info on the internet and in a more useful form. There is a need for compilations of declassified documents. It is a shame that those who did this disk did not take more care. IT has one large file of the documents of interest. There are many files that can only be called "filler." If they split up the Vietnam files it would be more user friendly. No one who has done any serious research would put together a a disk in this way.I thought that they compilers of this disk would have spent a little more time making the information easier to use. Many of the menus in the large files are just the numbers that the various agencies used to file these documents. This is not useful. For the amount that was charged for this cd-rom they should have taken more care.

This review is from: 21st Century Secret Documents – Vietnam and the Gulf of Tonkin Incident, Newly Declassified National Security Agency (NSA) Documents, Signals Intelligence, Histories and Reports (CD-ROM) (CD-ROM)
This CD has lots of basic documents, such as a transcript of the U.S. Constitution, and it has photocopies of U.S. military and naval correspondence from 1964. If you study each transcript of correspondence, then you might be able to determine a basic outline of what happened, despite inconsistencies between what different servicemen reported. What is missing is information on how Washington's leaders were handling all of this.
