Just what I was looking for!, February 11, 2001

This is a recording of music like you would typically hear at a luau. It sounds very authentic as it should because it was taped in Tahiti/Bora-Bora during the "Polynesian July" celebrations. Lots of fast moving drum movements(such as those Tahitian dancers in grass skirts "shake" to)intermingled with native songs. Makes you feel as though you're on vacation again. If I could I would maybe only gave four and a half stars because the quality of the recording wasn't the best--but "live" recordings aren't going to be studio quality. We will be using it for background music for our "luau" theme party.
