This book was what I needed to repair my 1987 Dodge Dakota Pickup. I have some decent mechanic skills and purchased this vehicle with the foreknowledge that I would have to work on it. This shop manual gives me the information, and repair procedures in a step by step format along with photos of the procedures needed to properly repair my vehicle. The Clymer shop manuals give a more detailed, in depth guide than the other more readily available and popular manuals on the market. This manual is more detailed in the diagnoses and procedures in a clear and concise manual designed to be used by the person with limited automotive repair experience and the experienced mechanic who repairs vehicles for a living. If you are going to repair you're vehicle yourself this is the manual to purchase to ensure you do the repair right, and with safety as a forethought to get it done.
