The book was perfect for me. It explains mainly how to serveice your vehicle, and that was what I was looking for. If you are wanting to get into details of the 97-99 Dodge Dakotas, you may want to get the Chrysler book instead

The Repair book saved me money by being able to repair my own car instead of taking it to the shop. I purchased the repair book at Amazon to save even more money. The repair manual was easy to find most needed information. The book showed repairs that the average person could perform at home, it also showed when you needed to take it to the shop. Even when you were unable to repair it yourself at least you had a better idea of what and how a shop would repair it. This book is for the do it your self type of persons who are not afraid of getting dirty with time to spend repairing automobiles. Buy this book It will help you even if you have to take it to the shop.

This book is easy to read and follow, has good pictures, and gives instructions in great detail. Highly recommend it.

Have always had a good experience with these Haynes manuals. Very helpful, even if you are not a super mechanic.

I wouldn't clean my rear end with the pages of this worthless book. Very incomplete. Awful awful awful index!!!! You will look for the most simple items and they will not be there. This must have been a high school project or something. You would be better off taking the truck apart and writing your own book!!! Stay clear and save your money!!.

Don't go to the shop without this manual.
