5.0 out of 5 stars DON'T JUDGE A CD BY ITS COVER
I own all of Sum 41's albums and think they are all awsome. When I first heard Still Waiting on the radio, the only thing that I could recongize was Deryck's voice. There sound has changed so much-but for the better. I still love their all their songs, from their album "Half an Hour of Power" to this one. Just because they've changed doesn't mean their worse. If you every...

1.0 out of 5 stars GO KEVIN!!!!!!! but....
THis CD isn't too bad as far as most punk pop albums go. Relatively, It's actually pretty good, but Ultimately I have to agree with kevin. Punk Pop is usually lame. this album is more like wannabe metal. I don't think Kevin knew that, but that doesn't meen he was wrong. He was talking bout Punk Pop in general. This band, because of their earlier stuff, is identified as a...

If you every were a Sum 41 fan and LOVED their stuff, buy this album-it's GARANTEED to grow on you even if you don't like it! The ONLY thing I didn't like about this CD was its cover.

5.0 out of 5 stars Is this infected?, November 27, 2002

This album rules! It combines the rock and rythyms from All Killer No Filler and Half Hour of Power. I was a little dissapointed though, because there is no song titled yesterday.com or the song a**hole. It instead has A.N.I.C. and No Brains.

NEVERTHELESS, THIS ALBUM IS DRESSED FOR THE OCCASION!

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST CD EVER!!!, August 15, 2003

This review is from: Does This Look Infected (Clean) [Limited Edition w/ Bonus DVD (Audio CD)
I first heard Sum 41 on SNL, (Saturday Night Live), and I instantly loved it and told all my friends. All Killer No Filler was a great CD, but it was a little too "pop-ish". This CD kicks that crap out and adds in Rock, great guitar solos, and other stuff. If your looking for a CD, buy this one now! You'll never get sick of it. I haven't!

5.0 out of 5 stars insane, January 28, 2003
This review is from: Does This Look Infected (Clean) [Limited Edition w/ Bonus DVD (Audio CD)
coming off of 'all killer no filler'i thought that this cd was going to be really bad but ive now probably listened to it about 20 times in the 2 days ive had it and i am finding new things in it that make the cd perfect. dropping their pop sound from 'aknf' and adding some insane guitar parts and more intense lyrics leave this cd to be one of the most perfect cds i own at this time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Thing Since Green Day, December 30, 2002
This review is from: Does This Look Infected (Clean) [Limited Edition w/ Bonus DVD (Audio CD)
It's 100% pure punk...some of the songs have sort of an old school taste to it, too. It's really entertaining...and you often find yourself wishing it was longer.

Still Waiting was the song that got my attention and the reason I got the CD. As it turned out, none of the songs disappoint. It's rare to have a CD that you enjoy every track on.
The DVD is also great.
Just note ... that .com song are not on the CD, but instead the okay A.N.I.C. and the amazing No Brains.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best Sum 41 album yet, but not incredible music, August 16, 2004
By
Unfortunately, Kevin is right about a lot of things. Punk is supposed to be all about being different, lashing out at society's ills, all that stuff. It just doesn't work when every song is about not conforming (a line I love is from Thanks for Nothing, "I wont....waste my time with further education".. yeah, being able to earn more than minimum wage when you grow up is a real waste of time.. heh)

While I'm a fan of thrashy music and all.. Sum 41 keeps trying too hard to be "punk". If you're "punk", you are punk from the moment your band is formed. Not after your third album from a major label. They're just grasping for straws now.

Anyway, this is the first album thats really made me take notice of them. Its a decent album, but the politics of the situation make it seem slightly tarnished.

5.0 out of 5 stars A word to kevin, July 20, 2004
So To Kevin its kinda obvious that u havent actually listend to this cd cuz when u listen to it u can tell that their is a HUGE difference between this record and their previous ones. their music is a lot heavier and it doesnt even sound remotely pop. also when it comes to blink 182 they r not a bunch of ppl who make records that sound the same cuz on their new self titled record they dont make stupid catchy dating stories and stuff about losing a girl. their videos dont have them running aroung naked and they put alot of thought into it. they did something new with their new record. and as for GC...their cool. on their upcoming CD (chronicles of life and death) i hear they r having some hip hop collabs and thats original...i dont no why u even bother to say that these bands r the same when they clearly arent. so to you all i have to say is BUy THE F*CKING RECORD.
