Being an abused woman I found the book invaluable in helping me to put what I was feeling and living through into focus. What I knew in my heart Bancroft confirmed. I wish everyone entering a shelter, seeking help especially from clergy, and every counsler would have to read it before they went to bed tonight. It helps the hurting and gives them support when they may not have found it else where. It is a book of hope. Buy it for anyone who is having problems with their partners and feeling down. It could save their lives both emotionally and physically. |
