Your tongue is one of the most powerful weapons you possess, it can be used for blessings or curses. This book which is Biblically based is well explained on the powers of the nongue and how you can control yours. This is a powerful book, and remeber he Bible is the only reliable book, however this book will shed some light on the subjest of the tongue.

This book is a must read for anyone serious about finding their purpose in life. Prince beautifully illustrates through the Word and his experiences the undeniable importance of tongue healing. Our mortal destiny is so often determined by this littlest member of the body... for better or worst!

This is a great book. I am just beginning my walk in Chritianity. I am still reading the bible and making mistakes everyday. I realized this was an area I needed help with. I was actually searching Bible Study books when I ran across this one. Well I bought it, started reading it and couldn't stop...and it shut me up for a little while!
I could go and on about this book but I'll just say these things

1. It's straight to the point
2. It tells you WHY what you speak is so important
In the hour (maybe) it takes you to read you are receiving years of wisdom and good advice that is priceless and should be heeded, IMHO. I'm blown over by this book, if you need help in this area, buy it, check it out from the local library, borrow it but READ and HEED!

Being a christian or not, this book would help anyone have a pleasant, more productive life, better relationship's, etc. by learning how to control one's tongue and seeing how imperative one's speech influence's one's very own life, and those around them. A must read.

I finished this in two hours. Awesome book with useful information! Small too. It can fit in your purse or pocket.

Our tongues can be agents of change for the better or worse in the lives of those around us. Too many of us use our tongues for hurting rather than healing. Referencing many scriptures--especially in Proverbs and James--Derek Prince explains the power of the tongue, how our speech reveals the condition of our hearts and how we can be healed of various "diseases" of the tongue.

I highly recommend this little volume to every Christian--especially parents, teachers and others who directly influence the lives of others through their speech and instruction. It's a quick, easy read, but powerful. Be prepared to be convicted--and changed!

It's amazing how Derek Prince packs so much information into a small book. Very helpful and informative.

Excellent book explaining bible verses that can enrich your Christian life. I highly recommend this book. I found this book extremely helpful in further understanding the scriptures.

Another excellent book which is about gossip. I am not sure that many people know that gossip is a sin. I really enjoyed this book, and since reading it, I really make sure that I do not gossip. I tell people, friends, that "I am on a need to know basis! If I do not need to know it, do not tell me anything." A very good read!Does Your Tongue Need Healing?

I would say this little book (and I mean little) is up there in my top five, just below the Bible, and Boundaries!
It is super easy to read. I love that Prince gets right to the point, not like in a lot of other books where they just fill the pages with too much repetitive detail. Well, one of the things he talks about is idle words so I guess this makes sense that he wrote this book that way!

I think EVERYONE, especially those trying to live more like Christ, should read this book. It's definitely worth buying because you will want to highlight, underline, etc and you should have it as reference to re-read every few years or so. It really changed my life in a subtle but very significant and profound way. I try to live now acknowledging that there IS life or death in the power of the tongue. In every word I speak as a teacher, to my friends, to my loved ones, I am either speaking life or death by my words. Don't you wish your parents followed this truth? I do! Everyone's tongue needs healing (often!)and I appreciate how Prince helps us understand how we can get to the root of things and work on speaking in Love.
