Kimberly is correct that the OW is designed for the Apple Wireless Keyboard. If you're not using the AWK there are better choices. However, the bluetooth AWK is fully compatible with the Nexus 7 and the tray designed to hold the iPad works quite well for the Nexus 7 (as well as other tablets.) I use mine with both my iPad and with my Kindle Fire HD, for example.

The key issue to remember is that the Origami Workstation is not a "case" for the tablet. When closed it is a case for the Apple Wireless Keyboard.

The case is actually for the apple keyboard! The keyboard gets locked in place and the flip back is what turns into the stand for your tablet. Unless the apple keyboard is compatible with a Nexus 7 I don't think you could use this.
