Does the D600 come with International Warranty and for what period?

The only warranty I received was for 1 year USA only. If this is an issue, I would suggest the purchase of a third-party extended warranty. Personally I have owned the d100, d200, d300s and now the d600 and have never need any warranty service.

I believe Nikon Warranty is per country, if you buy a US camera with US warranty , nikon will honor the warranty in the USA, but if you have a Australia warranty, a USA Nikon service center could refuse servicing the item even if still under the warranty period, they do this supposedly to protect the local dealers and market, a practice I dislike and cant understand IMO
