Does it really go as low as 140 degrees F?

It does have a temperature control knob that can be turned from markings that say 140 degrees all the way to 410 degrees. I do not know how accurate the temperatures are since I haven't actually tried to measure it, but you can turn the heat up or down. Hope this helps.

I just know it gets really hot, hence the glove included with your purchase of the flat iron.

You can tell the difference in the heat 140 vs 410.

The description says the temp starts at 240F (120C) but the dial starts at 140. What the heck? And there are no indicators of what the temps are until you get to the hottest. I will be writing a review after some use, just received it in the mail.

Yes it does the temperature ranges from 140* to 410*
