Yes. The unit operates basically the same as a computer/laptop. Connect the player through your router directly or using a LAN cable splitter.

Yes it does. You find the wifi signal and then you enter the password from your wifi. I hope I answered the question

Neither the documentation nor the machine itself mentions the WPA2 standard. It would be best to ask Sony directly if it can support WPA2: www.sonystyle.com
