Does this camera work well in low light?

Yes it does. I had mine set to 3200 ISO shooting in door and the pictures turned out almost noise free!

Better than most as everything is relative. Pump up the ISo to 3600 to allow for decent shutter speed. The camera sensor profits wells.

Define low light. It DOES NOT work well in low light unless what you're shooting is dead still and frozen from even the smallest motion. Rarely is anything you're shooting frozen in time and will always be in some kind of motion. The X-E1 has completely failed at that especially with the AF.
