Does any wireless mouse work from another room? If I have my computer tower in an adjacent room, and have the monitor connected to the tower on a long cord; can the wireless bluetooth mouse work properly from an adjacent room?
Apryl, you may want to consider using the following Bluetooth transmitter from Belkin. Belkin claims that adding this transmitter/receiver to a USB slot will allow you to boost Bluethooth range from the usual 10 meters up to 100 meters.
Now, considering some interference of the signal from intervening walls, even if it *only* boosted the Bluetooth signal another 20-30 meters, that should still do the job of getting you a solid bluetooth connection to another room.
