1. If you buy a cordless base that support multiple cordless handsets, you can plug that base station into the ooma 2. You can plug your ooma into a wall jack and use your existing wall jacks with individual cordless phones.
In both of these cases, you'll only be able to use a single line ( if you've purchased the ooma premier ). You'll have to buy the Telo handset for multi-line support. But you can use your standard cordless for line 1 and the ooma handset as the phone to pickup or make calls on the second line.
I have a 6.0 Panasonic base station with 4 additional cordless handsets. My plan is to locate the yet to be purchased Ooma Telo in my bonus room where I can plug it into to my modem and/or wireless router. Can I then plug the telo into the wall jack (in house telephone wiring) in the bonus room and plug the base station into the downstairs wall jack located in the kitchen. Will this allow me to utilize the base station handset and the wireless handsets located throughout the rest of the house? Mike
In response to Mike Mohlere's question, Yes this will work as long as you have disconnected your landline from your home.
