I bought this book based on the reviews already listed. When I received it I was extremely disappointed. I found this book to be very inaccurate. Its statements based on color and size were complete opposite of my exprience and that of my family. I also found it to be inadequate in breaking down general appearance and grooming of the poodle. I have found many books far better than this one.

Great starting place on Poodles. Good job on temperment. Only book I've seen that gives varying temperment info for the different color of poodles.

I am researching all I can for an upcoming Poodle purchase. I picked this book up at a store, and was pleasantly surprised when I came home and read it. It's small, only 80 pages, but I thought the information included in those pages was outstanding. I was really surprised. Good job, Dr. Fogle.

I am not a Poodle owner but I am looking to purchase my first one with in the next couple of weeks as a birthday present to myself. This book is short but there is a good amount of informatoin in it....

Best paper back book covering anything of practical usefulness regarding the Standard Poodle. Excellent piece - handy size.

I love this book, it is my favorite! I actually bought a second copy for my groomer so she had a picture of the style I want for my Poodles. I have also lent this book to several friends who all loved it so much they bought their own copy. It gives good, solid advice and the photo's alone make it worth more than the purchase price.

We are rising poodles. I bought this book with my breeder recommendation and now we give away one to everyone who buy a pupy from us. It is short and to the point. It will help anyone who is thinking of getting a poodle to make the right choice and it will provide great info for ones who allready have a poodle.
