Everything is good quality except the switch. It doesn't stay off which is in the center position between on and strobe. If the switch had more positive action, I would have rated it 5 stars. As it is, with the slightest touch, it goes on. The light is hard to see in the sunlight so I've already burned out a set of batteries.

This is the second of this type of leash I have purchased. I purchased the first one at a Sharper Image store that was going out of business. After returning from a walk with our neighbor, the leash would not light up. I changed batteries, still, no light. I sent it to the Sharper Image and it was returned to me in the same condition (Return to Sender). Since Sharper Image seemed to be out of business, I found and purchased the same leash on Amazon. It, too, does not light up after 4 or 5 uses. It was lighting up just fine and last night, just quit working. It's still a nice leash, but it doesn't do what it said it would. Buyers beware!
