An enjoyable read,

I think this would be a nice read for any dog lover. It takes place in America's early western days when Indians and white men were starting to sign peace treaties. This book is about a young man who loves the outdoors and joins up with two mountain men who have been asked to visit Indian tribes to 'smoke the peace pipe'. He has an incredible dog whose life he saved as a pup that makes this journey across the Rocky Mountains with him.I will say after the first 85 percent of the book I felt it became too unbelievable and I skimmed over a number of pages but I would still recommend it. |
