Dog Eat Dog,
By Christopher Joeseph Bucher (Albany, New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dog Eat Dog (Library Binding)
Dog Eat Dog, By Chris Lynch is one of the best books I've read in a while. It is a non-fiction book. I hadn't read the first two books of the trilogy before reading this, and I am going to start reading the first book of the series. I would recommend this book to anyone. It is a very intriguing book even though it is not the joyful book I've read; it is that, that makes my book intriguing. This book is about a 15 year old kid, who is going through many struggles with his family, and is trying to overcome all the struggles in his life. He goes through problems with in an Irish part of Boston where life's rough. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone under the age of 12 years old due to some of the strong language and graphic details of the book. It is a very good book for anyone trying to overcome their own personal problems and it is good to see that you can escape from your old life and start over. I was overall very happy that I read this book and I think most people would enjoy it.

Great start, okay finish,

This review is from: Dog Eat Dog (Blue Eyed Son) (Library Binding)
I loved the first two books in the blue eyed son series, but the last book waasn't even half as good as the first two. The ending to this trilogy wasn't satisfying at all. I was very annoyed with the whole dog fighting thing. The fact that Mick would participate in such a moronic thing showed that he really had not grown and changed very much at all. I was disappointed in him after that. But I really do reccomend the trilogy because it's an inspiring story about a boy who manages to escape his upbringing.
