On the road for nearly 150 shows a year, Hicks plays lead guitar and is a featured vocalist performing songs from his solo album Dog Eat Dog World.

This is the kind of music that once was. Blues, rock, southern boogie, even a bit of old style R&B. Hicks is a convincing player and makes the case for a return to this style which is almost completely forgotten. Pick any track and you'll find yourself in a great mix of organic, well produced rock. A total winner of an album.

Chris Hicks is a great new talent with an old familiar band, The Marshall Tucker band from Spartanburg, SC! Great set of songs that Chris carries with a talented voice. Kind of a little blues/southern rock sound.
