Great for Old-Style bird hunters, Southerners, Black Powder,
By David A. Bagwell (dab@ajlaw.com) (Mobile, Alabama) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dog and Gun: A Few Loose Chapters on Shooting, Among Which Will Be Found Some Anecdotes and Incidents (Library Alabama Classics) (Paperback)
This book, by an old-South Whig newspaperman humorist, is entirely serious, and is the best extant work on bird [quail and duck] hunting in antebellum Alabama. Any Southern quail hunter will just love it.
