my dog LOVES this contraption. I run it sometimes when I am away from the house for long periods. If it is still in its cycle when I am home, I always have a hoot watching my dog play. The contraption beeps and my dog looks at me and then runs over to where it is. It spits out a kong stuffed with kong paste and treats (by yours truly) and he plays and wags his tails for a good bit of time. It is a great idea

This Kong dispenser is an awesome concept! I am surprised more people don't know about it. I have 2 dogs and am able to fit 2 small Kongs in each slot. My dogs love this dispenser and have come to rely on it whenever we are gone from the house for more than 4 hours. Any time we have forgotten to set it, I have come home to somethhing destroyed in the house from my dogs being bored. This keeps them well entertained and happy. I don't know what I would do if this ever broke. It has 2 settings on it. 4 or 8 hours. You set it for one of those and it will randomly distribute Kongs over a 4 or 8 hour period. Like I said, I can fit 2 small Kongs in each of the 4 slots. Also, I recommend definitely sitting this up high somewhere your dog can't reach.

This works great to keep a dog entertained for a while and give them something to work on chewing. However is your dog is to big and too bored and snells the food inside and they are not coming out fast enough, the dispenser becomes a big chew toy.
