About the Author

Claudia Hehr was born in Germany and always respected and loved dogs. Her expertise came from being a dog owner and working very closely with dogs for the last 20 years in Europe and in Canada.

She has been involved with dogs in almost every possible way.

Claudia also had her own dog sitting and walking agency. She had a pet store with dog grooming and opened Canada's first official dog day care centre in 1992. At the day care she was able to study and teach dog behaviour in groups with up tp 27 dogs daily (hence a lot of happy dog owners)!

Now Claudia specializes in educating people in understanding their dogs better and therefore, dogs and their owners are able to live happier lives together.

Through her knowledge and work with dogs Claudia has been a guest on many TV and radio shows which have been aired world wide. She has also been written up in many newspapers and magazines.

For the person that said this book can be read in five minutes. Yes, its easy to understand, but don't underestimate your dog will not understand these commands. Dogs are more intelligent than you give them credit. Perhaps, there in lies the lesson. This book is well worth it for anyone to read and help train their dogs up in the proper ways. I very much enjoyed the book and I know others will find it most effective.

I enjoyed this pocket guide, the commands are simple, and easy to remember, yet powerful. The explanations are very clear, and I learned new commands that I never even thought of, until now. The artwork makes this book fun, Edison is cute and comical! Definitely would recommend this book to anyone of all ages, as it is a great teaching tool for you and your companion friend. Two Thumbs UP!

Finally a book that explains training commands in detail! Great as a quick reference even while you are out walking your dog. I found
new information although I thought that I already knew pretty much everything about training my dog.
I did recommend it to all my friends who are dogowners.
