If you want a bouncy, silly, rhyming, perfect road-aloud about dogs, this is the book for you! The illustrations are hilarious and so much fun to look at again and again.

My daughter is 1 year old and LOVES this book! I think she is attracted to the wonderful illustrations and the great rhymes. She carries it around and tries to say "doggone" before handing us the book to read. A great book to share!

All three of my kids LOVE this book (Ages 9, 6, and 2) My 2 year old makes us read it every night. She loves it so much she has most of it memorized by now. The illustartions are fantasitic, cute and silly. The story is funny and has a nice rhyming scheme. As a teacher for the past 13 years I've read quite a few books and this is one of the best. If you like this you would also like Matt Whitlocks books as well. Nicely written and great illustrations.

What a perfect duo of author and illustrator Beaumont and Catrow are! This book was both amusing and lively with the great illustrations and wonderful rhyming. I love reading this book to my six year old again and again. Both of us can't get through the book without giggling at the picturs and the story. Such a lovely book full of fun. I can't wait to buy another great children's book from this author and I am definitely going to check on any other books the illustrator has put his talented artwork in!!! Love, love, love it!
