This book was so helpful in understanding the history,characteristics and special qualities of this breed. The pictures are great and the section on puppy care, training, healthcare and everyday care were especially helpful. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a first time Dogo owner as we were!

This book is truly a comprehensive guide to owning this wonderful breed. There's a lot a potential owner need to know about this breed before taking ownership of one and this book tackles that issue plus extensively covers feeding, training, and caring for your Dogo.

This book is a must read for future and current Dogo owners!

Doesn't just cover breed-specific stuff like diet, but also includes tips for training. Well written, very to the point and informative. Highly recommend if you are considering purchasing one, or already have.

This guide saved me and my potencial new best friend alot of trouble. It clearly highlighted that I am not in a siuation that would be conducive to having a dogo (townhouse + work hours). Read this before you aquire your new buddy NOT after.

My puppy ate the first edition copy my boyfriend had. I wanted to replace the Dogo book not only b/c it was the right thing to do, but also b/c I love reading about the breed. We still have the Dogo - just on the 2nd book! The Dogo rules the house and we take the terrier pup's destruction of the first book as an opinion.

Very similar to 1st edition and excellent source about the breed.

Excellent book. As a new Dogo owner the information is absolutely fabulous. All topics from history of the breed, picking a puppy, caring for your dogo through their senior years and first aid. Great book!
