A Great Read - An Easy Gift,

This review is from: A Dog's Guide to Life (Hardcover)
I am buying this book as a stocking stuffer and for every secret santa, grab bag party I'm attending this season. It's a great book and it's practically free (what is it, like 10 bucks?). The book was given to me by someone in my office who knows I love dogs. Every page, I laughed and nodded "yeah, that IS how a dog would see that"? It's really funny and perceptive and if you are a dog person or just like reading about relationships, you will love this book.

This is a must-read for dog lovers, or anyone who might be interested in a dogs-eye-view of relationships. I am giving this book to all my canine-loving friends next Christmas. Recommended with pleasure!

This is a book I could not put down. A perspective of life and human psychology seen through the eyes of Bala, a Doberman cross. A must to read for doglovers and everyone who wants to understand this world. Highly recommended.. give it away to friends on any occasion.

I loved reading this book. In fact, I've read it a couple of times now and enjoy it more each time. As an avid ... okay obsessive dog lover I found the doggie perspective incredibly enjoyable and humorous. I especially liked Bala's perspective on her Papa's lack of hunting skills (because he never comes home with groceries like Mommy does). Bala's explanations of marking and chewing are also quite amusing. This book is wonderfully written and a very enjoyable read.

Bow Wow Bad (and poorly written to boot!),

I got this book (well priced) and I thought it would be fun but it was a real disappointment. Written in an obviously forced and amateurish tone, the book tries way too hard to be cutesy. Who knows, maybe it's a secret allegory for someone's failed life. Maybe dogs will be able to relate, but us humans won't. It's a painful read. Don't bother. ...

A great read for those with a dog, or wanting a dog, or envying a dog, or those with no dog at all. A really fun book.
