Our daughter got a puppy for Christmas. We thought it would be fun to have the rest of her Christmas gifts involve the puppy in some way. We purchased this book because it's "kid friendly" and it has everything you need to know about dog breeds and how to take care of them. We were not disappointed. It's a huge book and it contains everything a person needs to know care for their dog. My daughter loves the book and she's learning a lot. I recommend it and you can't beat the price. The same book at a book store would cost at least $25.00.

After checking this book out of the library and constantly renewing it, I finally purchased it. My kids couldn't get enough of this jam-packed fact filled book. There is so much helpful information on care, breeds, sports, activities and so much more. Great colorful pictures.

Puchased this book (hard cover) for one of my twin boys since he want a dog. He is to read through the book (easy read for him) and find out about different dogs, what dog would be best for him (and family), how to care for a dog, dog behaviors, how to stay safe with dogs, etc...

This book answers all of these questions and more.

A dog is a big responsibility and this book not only tell about different breeds and advise on if that breed is appropriate for your family but it also talk about the responsibility of owning a dog, dog behaviors, keeping your dog happy and healthy, etc..

It also have fun riddles, talk about dog walking business, adult alerts, show pictures of children taking care or help taking care of their pets which I though was great. It shows the child taking responsibility for their pet.

This book is a great read for not only kids but adults alike.

I couldn't put it down. Very interesting & Fun.

I saw this at the library and thought this is a good book for families who don't know which breed to select or have questions re dogs already in the household. I purchased it for my grandson who adores it. They refer to it again and again.

Got this for our granddaughter for a christmas gift,and among all the stuff she got she said it was her favorite. She really loves animals and is dreaming of being vet when she grows up. The book is well written easy to understand,has wonderful illustrations.

Great book. My 10 year old daughter has already read half the book in one week and plans to reread it. It is packed with information for dog lovers on every breed of dog, training, grooming, nutrition, etc.
