5.0 out of 5 stars The one calendar we buy every year.
This calendar shows dogs in all their wonderful dogginess. Some of the pictures are so classic that we have saved pictures from several years ago. There is a large picture each day Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday are on one page with two smaller pictures. The calendar is printed on recycled paper. Each calendar comes with a plastic tray for recycling...

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed
I am very disappointed in the 2011 Dog page-a-day calendar. My daughter and I have been buying these for over 15 years and have loved them. However, when I opened the one for 2011, it was instantly obvious they have changed to a cheap, low quality brand of paper for their pictures. The other huge disappointment is that at least 50% of the pictures have cut off portions...

This calendar shows dogs in all their wonderful dogginess. Some of the pictures are so classic that we have saved pictures from several years ago. There is a large picture each day Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday are on one page with two smaller pictures. The calendar is printed on recycled paper. Each calendar comes with a plastic tray for recycling past days' pages as note paper, an entry form for entering your own dog in next year's contest, and directions for downloading an online version of the calendar. I highly recommend this calendar to any dog lover.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Dog Calendar, November 17, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have this calendar every year. I've sent lots of photos and won a free calendar many times, but whenever I don't win one, I buy one. They've started putting some funny captions on a few of the pictures, and they've always included some useful dog facts and tips with some of the pictures. Wonderful photos! I love this calendar!

I have purchased this calendar for many, many years and enjoy it all year long. I love the dog pictures and the comments included. I use the back of the past pages for notes so nothing goes to waste. I would highly recomment this for anyone who loves dogs.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed, December 12, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am very disappointed in the 2011 Dog page-a-day calendar. My daughter and I have been buying these for over 15 years and have loved them. However, when I opened the one for 2011, it was instantly obvious they have changed to a cheap, low quality brand of paper for their pictures. The other huge disappointment is that at least 50% of the pictures have cut off portions of the dog; some have cut off the head from the eyes down, some pics put the dog on the edge and show more scenery than the actual dog. I'm doubt that the owners would submit the pictures that way. This was such a high quality calendar in the past; WHY did you change it? I think many of the owners whose dogs are pictured partially cut off are going to be disappointed, too. I don't plan on buying any more until they return to their previous high standards.

5.0 out of 5 stars Daily Pleasure, November 22, 2007

I have bought this calendar every year for around 8 years and will continue as long as it is being produced. It gives me great pleasure each morning to see the next much-loved pet who has a family that was proud to share their photo. I enjoy reading the names of each pet, and seeing where they live. The text that appears on each day is sometimes educational, sometimes playful and always a great way to start the day. Each page can be recycled as note paper (on the back), which means that I often receive a comment back from someone who has received a note, saying they got a smile from the other side and thanks! Well worth the money.

This was purchased for a relative who loves dogs and needs this to know what day it is. She is in her late 80's and it is a godsend for keeping her on the correct day.

Easily one of the best page-a-day calendars on the market for dog lovers. The individual pages are full of fun and interesting facts/background on the dogs pictured or about dogs in general. Excellent reproduction of the individual photos, sized just right for desk usage. HIGHLY recommended for dog lovers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dog a day calendar is terrific, January 12, 2009
365 Dogs Page-A-Day 2009 Desk Calendar

This calendar brightens my day with wonderful photos and terrific information about various breeds of dogs. There are always interesting bits of information about dogs in general. The dogs are everyday pets with real owners, not just pictures of dogs so there is a personal touch to each page.
