Editorial Reviews

Dogs is the culmination of everything that has led us to this point, all the internal and external struggles that have made us who we are. To us, it serves the downtrodden of our times, who can feel their struggle reflected in ours. We called the album Dogs because it is a personification of everything we all have become and a wide reaching, never-ending analogy for what we currently feel; a unified stamp of our lives in this moment. We have been beaten to the ground, spit on and kicked, and we have bitten back and clawed at those who are against us. We have felt caged. We have been hungry and fought for scraps. We have been pet and praised in one instant, and neglected and abused in the next. We have formed a pack, and we are fiercely loyal to one another.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome follow-up October 12, 2011
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
I'd have to say even better than the first album. They've exponentially grown in both their writing and performing. What a joy to hear Mark's lyrical voice shine through on the sweet sounding "Slip Through my Hands". Yet the head-banging "Fall Back" just rocks!! A GREAT live band that you shouldn't miss.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic rock album October 12, 2011
Format:Audio CD
Heavily influenced by others in the rock world, but with a lot of their own flare and musical stylings. Their first album was awesome with a kind of bluesy feel at times, though that doesn't show up quite as much here. However, this album is equally great (if not slightly better?) and I would recommend it to anyone who loves rock music.

Woo-hoo! I love these guys. Thought his voice was annoying at first. Gave it another try; It was love at second listen. The WHOLE album is listen-able (is that a real word?) C'mon, how often can you say that?

I like these guys. Singer has some pipes for sure. I prefer "And You Were A Crow" over this one. I listen to that one often. Good band.
