Excellent choice!
I purchased this collar about a month ago for my two large black lab dogs. We were having a problem with them running off and not listening to commands outside. Weak
Really is only effective at close range and if you charged it throughly and if you charged the controller and if the dog is in direct range and if you activated it properly. Good luck trying to manage the dog when things get out of control, better get your checklist ready.

I purchased this collar about a month ago for my two large black lab dogs. We were having a problem with them running off and not listening to commands outside. The first day I used the collar it was like a miracle worker. Just using the vibration (not shocking) was enough to get their attention. I suddenly had two very well behaved dogs. The best part was that they could be outside with me as I did yard work and not have to be tied up. I have had to use the shock once or twice at a low setting but overall, they respond to commands right away. Everything holds a charge for a long time and my dogs have also proved that its waterproof claims are true. This is a great purchase!
