The Surestim 2 dog units have a pager feature in the handheld transmitter acknowledging that you have fully engaged the transmitter button. This positive feedback vibration feature is especially valuable when wearing gloves during cold weather training and hunting. Designed for smaller breeds or dogs that do not need a high output. Dogtra Surestim 2 Dog Low-Med Training Collar Great product. Durable. Recommend if have 2 dogs and need to be able to control them both. Previously had one collar and used leash w/one. This system works much better. Trained younger dog first. Older dog "got-it" much more quickly. Almost never need to 'NIC' older dog. Both VERY bright dogs - GERMAN SHEPHERD and AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD mix. After using for about 2-3 weeks exclusively, only need to use 'CALL' (vibrate) buttons when walking them. Strongly suggest working with trainer to understand how to use.
