4.0 out of 5 stars Very good album, June 3, 2008
I was excited to see 8ball was going to drop another solo album BUT sometimes you should read the fine print. What do I mean you ask? Well the fact that Edi from The Outlawz is on the album with him and you dont really notice because of the way they have structered the album cover. The production is tight but Edi at times sounds just like 8ball which is irritating because they might have well made it a 8Ball solo album and even though Edi at times sounds like 8ball the difference is lyrical content. Im curious as to why Real Talk gave MJG a solo album and not 8Ball? All Im saying is team up the lightweights in the game with each other, but leave the heavyweights and legends in their own class. I think it wouldve been better if they did. I think the only person that can hang on a album with 8ball is MJG and if Real Talk wanted to team him up with anyone it shouldve been him (hence another 8Ball & MGJ album YES!!). Anyways the production is tight other than what I mentioned above and the album is a solid buy and worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent album from 8Ball & Edi Amin, April 29, 2008
By G$ "Z-Wad" (B-More, MD) - See all my reviews

8Ball teams up with Edi Amin (of the Outlawz) to bring you a decent 10 song album. Like Real Talk Ent. seems to be doing, they team up 2 rappers from big groups and put them together (Young Noble with Lil Flip and another with Layzie Bone and one with Dead Prez, MC Eiht with Spice 1 and another with Brotha Lynch Hung, etc...). Like all the albums they also put it, its short, at only 10 songs. Of the 10, 6 are good and 4 are ok. Only 1 guest, 8Ball's normal partner in rap, MJG. Production is decent with, like most of the albums Real Talk puts out, Big Hollis & Preach doing the majority (7 songs), Cosmo does 2 and Vince V does 1. A nice album for fans of the 2 to have.

#2 - 7.5
#3 - 8.5 (song about music)
#4 - 7
#5 - 8.5 (deeper song)
#6 - 8 (smoking song)
#7 - 6.5 (about down a$* women)
#8 - 8.5
#10 - 7.5
#12 - 8.5 (f/ MJG)
#13 - 9 (nice beat)

4.0 out of 5 stars Fat Mack layion' it DOWN (once again), August 18, 2008
To be honest, i wasnt expecting sh** from this record. The last 2 ball & g records (ridin hi, livin legends) were complete duds to me. I've been a huge fan since "Comin out Hard"...but Bad Boy seemed to soften up those M-town boys. Well, this record set me straight, cuz it's some hot sh**!! Ball & EDI puttin it down....somethin for the trill. It's not a classic record, but there's a lot of tight tracks. Favorites are "Don't Stop", "Blow It Out" & "Ain't Gotta Tell Ya" This kicks the sh** outta everything on BET, so f**k T.I., get this instead
