With his 2007 debut, I'll Stay Me, Luke Bryan unapologetically shared his own brand of traditional Country music with an ever-growing legion of fans. On his sophomore album, Doin' My Thing, Luke is destined to find an even broader audience. The lead single from the album, 'Do I', definitely has fans talking.

After buying his latest CD Tailgates & Tanlines and loving every single song on it, I figured this CD had to be just as good since I knew and really liked 3 songs on it. Well I was a little disappointed. Those three songs were good and so were a couple others, but mostly the CD was just OK. Nothing too special. One song that I was really disappointed about though was a cover of One Republic's "Apologize." It didn't fit his voice and I don't like that song anyway, so it didn't help with him singing it. Overall if you are a big Luke Bryan fan, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, but otherwise I'd skip this one and buy his third and latest CD instead

I love this CD, I just put it on and play the entire song... hard to find a cd out there these days that I can do that with. Writes all but 3 cds on the cd. What country is, doin my thing, and apologize. doin my thing is credited to another writer which cowrites many other songs with luke on this cd too. apologize is a cover of a one republic song, which is also covered by silverstein, which are two rock groups. Rain is a good thing is mentioned in people magazine country special. My favorites are Do I, Doin my thing, rain is a good thing and welcome to the farm. Do I and Rain is a good thing are now popular on country music stations. Overall excellent CD.

I really liked "I'll Stay Me", and "Doin' My Thing" is an amazing follow-up. There's really not one song that I want to skip through; the entire CD is playable, start to finish. I also really like that Luke Bryan writes his own songs; he really sounds like he's lived everything he's singing about. Unlike some overly-commercialized recent music, this CD is full of real, honest, comfortable country. You should definitely give it a listen; it's worth the time and money.

This cd has a couple of good ones. Luke has a great voice and songs are fun and simple but get ya humin and singing these songs. Good buy

Doin his thing
This cd is fantastic! Not a song on it that I don't like. I love Luke Bryan and every song he makes is a great one! If your a fan you will love this album!
