Oh hellz ya, this stuff is da bomb. Literally. I had an invasion of mites that I barely kept manageable with Neem, H2O and alcohol, SM90, pest strips, etc.
I got DD in a package, the big can (of death) and the one time use fogger.

I've yet to use the fogger... 2 applications about 4 days apart with this stuff, and I haven't caught one little invader in about 3 months. Not to say they won't be back, cause you know mites are The Borg... but still, this stuff rocks. Try the milder things first, if that don't work, all out warfare!
This stuff is like an A-Bomb to their little plans to conquer your world.

I'm a commercial Walnut grower from California. As such, I have what is known as a California Pest Control Advisor available to advise me in all pest control matters. Mites are a constant problem in Walnuts, and when they are present, he will always steer me away from the use of Pyrethrins, because they do 2 things that are negative in controlling mites. The first one is that all Pyrethroids, whether organic, or manmade (for example Permethrin & others), kill beneficial predator insects that are helping keep the mites & other destructive insects in check. This mostly relates to outdoor growing, though if any beneficial insects have been introduced indoors, they will be destroyed, as well.

The 2nd problem, AND BY FAR THE WORST, is that when a Pyrethroid kills mites, it causes them to spew out huge numbers of viable mite eggs! These eggs will then hatch out within 3 to 5 days, and your mites are back! I'm a bit amazed that users reviewing the product have had success. No serious commercial farmer would ever use Pyrethrin against mites. And one more thing. No one has ever done any studies on what is produced when the by products of the breakdown of Pyrethrins are burned. Putting anything like this on your flowers & smoking them is asking for trouble. You just may wind up with cancer later in life!

There are much better products for mites. I've successfully controlled them with simple Safer Soap applied every 5 to 7 days, a total of 3 to 4 times. Azamax also works well when used as directed on the label. Another good product is Liquid Lady Bug, though it's too costly for a very large grow, at $50.00 per gallon of spray. I gave this product 3 stars because simply because it's labeled for mites. But, if it had been labeled and marketed properly, I'd have given it 5 stars.

It's advertized for tomato plants and a few other things, but I researched it and this is supposed to work on pretty much any plant and I needed it for spider mites. I had spider mites on a Jasmine plant and they spread to a baby maple tree that I'm trying desperately to grow before our full grown maple tree dies (it's had some bad luck over the years).

Well, I sprayed both plants outside and followed the directions on the can. 2 days later there was absolutely no movement on either plants. And after another 3 or 4 days I was surprised that my jasmine plant (which has many small leaves and stems) had been sprayed thoroughly enough to kill the whole infestation in one go. My maple tree, however, had a resurgence of mites after 5 days.

They had begun to spin webs around all of the top leaves and had a few threads between the bottom few. So I waited another 2 days to spray it again because as directed you're supposed to wait 7 days between sprays. The day after I sprayed the second time the mites were all dead, but, to my horror, the leaves began to all turn brown starting at the edges. I assume that the mites may have done most of the damage, but I also suspect that the chemical spray may have had a hand.

My maple tree is still alive with a few brand new leaves coming in at the top. It's also mite-free. But if you have a delicate plant (young, small, and/or with fragile leaves) and this plant has a spider-mite infestation, use this product very lightly and as early as you can before the major damage is done. My suspicions about it's plant-killing potential is why I gave it a 4/5 star.

I had those pesky little spider mites living off of one of my plants and I tried some other products, but none of them worked as well as this one. Us it every 7-10 days and you will not see any live spider mites again!

I used this on an indoor/outdoor Grape Fruit Tree that was being mauled by spider mites. It takes a few treatments but eventually I was able to completely get rid of them. Great product. Doesnt smell bad either.

I'd been struggling with red spider mites on my meyer lemon tree for almost a year. I tried washing the tree with soap and water, showering the tree, showering the tree 2x a week followed by scrubbing it with soapy water for a month, rubbing alcohol, and probably some other (bad) ideas. Nothing worked. Since the tree was indoors and I have pets, plus thus far the tree been raised organic, I was very much hoping to avoid pesticides, but eventually, I relented.

I applied this once, and all of the mites died immediately. It was a little hard to tell, as they stay on the tree exactly where they died, so you have to brush off their little corpses. Unfortunately, about 2 weeks later they came back. I opted for a more aggressive strategy. I sprayed the tree down, and 3-4 days later did it again, and 3-4 days after that, sprayed it one last time.

I haven't had a single mite in over 2 months. I think they are finally gone! Plus, even if they come back, I still have most of the can left for more treatments. It's such a relief. The tree is healthy, and I don't have to spend time each day killing those awful mites.

I'd recommend (for an indoor plant) covering the soil before you spray, as some of the spray might drip down and it's probably best to keep it away from the soil. It also got on my wood floor while I sprayed the tree, so make sure you have a mop ready to clean off the floor so it doesn't get tracked around the house. It didn't mark the floor, but I figure its bad for the pets if they get their faces or paws in it.

Overall, great product, and I'm so happy I finally found something that worked!!!
