I bought these in grey about a year ago, and liked them so much I decided I'd buy them in brown. Only I couldn't find them ANYWHERE! Then I found them on Amazon, for less money, (the grey ones were more expensive) but after buying them and wearing them a couple of times, I can see why they are not as much as the originals. First of all, the quality of the leather on these "Reno 2" sandals are not the same at all. My old grey ones (which were simply called "Reno") are a much more soft, supple leather. Secondly, the inside leather on the sandal, that is actually touching your skin-is some kind of synthetic material. It feels like plastic, so not only does it rub against your skin and give you blisters, but it also makes your feet sweat! I was so excited to find these available to purchase again, but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in Dolce Vita's decision to put out a newer, yet crappier version of the original. They're super cute, but the leather on these looks & feels cheap. I would not have purchased these had I known they were not the same as the ones I purchased a year ago.

I love the style, and don't think they look weird. They're hip and hard to find in stores. The black is unbelievably versatile, and the heel height is extremely manageable, it's less than 3 in. Go for it I say.

this shoe looks ridiculous in the picture but once it is on your foot, it is pretty cool. extremely different and who wants to wear what everyone else is wearing? the thing that I like the most about the shoe is it's ability to look good with whatever you are wearing. from jeans to dress pants to crops, it looks good. i really recommend this shoe!
