I would hate to be without this yearly collector's guide to values for antique and modern dolls, but I'm not sure I am crazy about the format in this edition. I'm so used to the antique dolls being in the front section and vintage/modern dolls being in second section.It just seemed it took more time for me to find what I was looking for with everything mixed together,even though it is alphabetized ; chalk it up to being 'old and cranky' but this is one thing I'd like to see stay in it's original format. Even so,I am glad to see it continue with new authors rather than disappear, or combine with other doll publications. As always ,it's a good value for the money especially if you're a serious collector.

I research dolls for prices to help my wife prepare them for sale at shows. I use Kovels website, and this guide the most.

I am not a doll expert, but after sewing doll clothes and quilts for years, I decided to educate myself about dolls. In addition, I have several dolls from the 1970's from when I was a child,so I was curious to see what they were worth. I think the book is fabulous! You can look up dolls by maker name,or doll name (in alphabetical order), or type (such as composition). My only complaint is that I wish it had more color photgraphs, but I know space must have been an issue. The small purse size is great, because you can take it antique shopping without it being too obtrusive. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in the topic. Erin

Being in the doll field for over 18 years now it is most important to have an accurate price guide. This is a new & accurate & thorough but brief value guide for collectors & sellers.

This is a wonderful book for doll collectors. I have used this book for some time and each issue gets better.
