I have also been looking for "I'll be there" for a very long time. My search began a little over 4 years ago when my brother died. The lyrics from the song ran through my head, but I dodn't know the name or artist and neither did anyone else. Finally, I have the song I have been wanting to share with others who love and miss him.

Although I didn't find this entire CD that great, the song "I'll Be There" is woth 5+ stars. This song hit the top 40 years ago, then dropped off the face of the earth. I never knew who the artist was, or the name of the song. I called every radio station in the Chicagoland area, and visited very reputable music stores and sang it for them, and still no one knew. After searching for probably over 5 years, I FINALLY found out who sang it. This song is the most touching song I have ever heard. For anyone who has lost someone - You will be able to relate.

I've loved the song "I'll Be There" since I was 10 years old. It moved me the first time I heard it, and 9 years later, it still moves me. It's just a truly powerful song. The rest of the songs are good enough, but just this one song makes buying the whole CD worth every penny.

The Escape Club offers something for every pallate. This is a wonderful CD..sweet at times, edgey at times, but always musical and good listening. I'll be there is probably the most heartfelt and moving song I have ever heard. If it doesn't make you take a deep breath, you have no heart.

This is the follow-up to their 1988 hit album Wild Wild West. The Escape Club produce a dance-friendly blend of rock that incorporates elements of funk, reggae and house music. Lots of great songs here, like I'll Be There, Call It Poison, So Fashionable (a wry comment on the empty lives of models), Freedom (catchy as catch can), and Sugar Man (a dead ringer for Lou Reed at his peak). Intelligent lyrics, hearty hooks and tight playing. Snap it up!

"I'll Be There" is really the only good song on this album. I gave it 4 stars because this song deserves all 5, but the rest of the songs don't deserve any.

I remember hearing this on the radio in 1991. It was on the Top 40 chart for a few weeks. Casey Kasem said they wrote it because a close friend of the band had recently (1991) died, and this was a tribute to him.

I have played this song for a number of people. Those who liked country, hard rock, metal, you name it, and every one of them liked it.

The words are perfect. The music fits very well. Don't buy the album for the other songs, just for this one song. It's worth it!

If you have ever lost someone, or are far apart in a relationship/friendship, this song is great.

It is the best ballad I have ever heard.

My Sister was killed recently in a fire explosion; and it seems that listening to " I'll be there " is the only thing that makes me feel better. It's almost as if she wrote the song herself, especially for me. It's definately my all-time favorite.

I was really glad to see that I could still order this cd. I have been looking for it everywhere. Track 4 is my most favorite song, but I definitely like all of the songs. I recommend this cd to anyone.

I receive the CD and I drove all over my town listening to it. I haven't heard "I'll be there" since I was a young kid. It was wonderful hearing it and brought back great memories! Your service and ability to provide me this CD made this a great day for me! Thank you so much!!!!!

I found the song "I'll be there" and it is as I remember it from radio. A magic text together with corresponding music.

However the other stuff is poor. That's why the two stars.
