Amazon Exclusive: A Letter to Readers from the Kardashian Sisters

Hi Dolls!

Thanks so much for checking out our book! Dollhouse, our first novel, may be fiction but we can promise it’s just as crazy and fun-filled as our real lives. We had such an incredible time writing it!

It’s the story of Kamille, Kassidy, and Kyle Romero—three beautiful, loving, and deeply loyal sisters who are the heart and soul of their family.

Overnight, one of the Romero sisters becomes famous—magazine-cover, fashion-icon, headline-making famous! Trailed by paparazzi, invited to every red carpet event, she sets a new standard for Hollywood royalty.

You’d think that all the glitz and the glamour would make life a breeze. But as the sisters painfully discover, being a celebrity in L.A.’s gilded dollhouse isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Suddenly their problems are much bigger than sharing clothes and discussing crushes. Who knew that having a famous sister would bring up so many issues: jealousy, backstabbing friends, and paparazzi run-ins, to name just a few. As the sisters deal with their new lives, complete with a televised wedding, crazy nightclub parties, and forbidden stepsibling attraction, there’s a huge secret that threatens to break even their tightest family bonds.

Kamille, Kassidy, and Kyle, our three fearless heroines, get to do and say the stuff only we can dream up. When you read Dollhouse try to figure out which one of us came up with which storylines! Are any truths disguised as fiction? We’ll never tell.

xoxo,

Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé

From the Back Cover

Dollhouse is an addictively entertaining novel about an exciting, high-profile, complicated family with a huge heart and a lot of love. Written by superstars Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian, Dollhouse is a delicious glimpse that goes behind the glitter of fame into the hearts of three sisters fiercely devoted to one another and the family they love. Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé combined their truly scandalous imaginations with the secrets they know about life in the fast lane to give you a book like nothing you’ve ever read before!

Nothing is more important to the Rameros than family. Just ask Kamille, Kassidy, and Kyle—three beautiful, loving, and deeply loyal sisters who are the heart and soul of their family. Their mother has remarried and their new stepfather, a world-famous all-star baseball player, has come complete with two stepsiblings. Life in L.A. is pretty typical for this newly blended clan.

Until the day everything changes.

It was autumn last year when I went mountain climbing with my friend and her little sister. I'll never forget that cold windy day when we were trapped in a cave, shivering and calling for help. Our line had broken loose and the gales were bitter, dad couldn't make it that evening so we had to wait for him in the morning. By 4am, I swear we were going to get frost bite, when low and behold, stephanie brought out a copy of Dollhouse: A novel- it was a god send! I lit the match and the whole thing went up in flames and kept us warm for another 4 hours!!! I couldn't believe that a novel with no depth or intelligence lasted so long! Thank you Kardashians for saving our lives!

I got the Kardashian girls book Dollhouse and it was boring, predictable, transparent and filled with cotton candy that is stale and unsavory. Don't waste your money. You would be better off reading Winnie The Pooh over again than this garbage.

I rarely write reviews but I feel compelled in this case. This book seems unreadable to me. I've read some books that aren't that great but that still keep the reader interested. This book doesn't even do that. I had to put it down within just a few pages because it was badly written, seemed to have little substance and just didn't hook me at all. Save your money and your time!

This story is a good attempt at "fiction"...I'm a fan of the K's, so I thought for sure I would love this book. It bounces around a bit, and can be hard to follow at times, but it was an okay read otherwise. There was an unanswered question through the story...so I'm kind of hoping for a sequel to find out. Otherwise, it wasn't good, and it wasn't bad...for me, it was a book that I read, while inbetween books.

I have yet to figure out who the target market (or even an accidental market) would be for this book. It is written at a fifth grade level like a romance novel for pre-teens yet it exudes so much filth, obscenity and immorality that no one under 21 should be permitted to read this. Anyone over that age, myself included, should not reduce themselves to tolerating such poorly written garbage in book form. If it sells at all it would only be for the purpose of obtaining the Kardashians' autographs at the book signings. We can only hope the Kardashians use any proceeds they receive from this book to improve their educations. And I am actually a Kardashian fan.

This book is written worse then the Twlight Saga. It lacks any plot, imagination, and character development. Dollhouse is an obvious smoke screen for the authors' true lives. It would have been better if they wrote a tell all autobiography, then trying to pass this off as fiction. Anyone with half a brain can see that the three "heroines" of the novel are Kim, Kourtney, and Khole. Show me an original plot and I'll consider this a well-written book, so far I have found nothing.

From the description of this book...

"Dollhouse is a first fiction collaboration by the fabulous Kardashian sisters-- Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé. Fans will love this novel which reveals the inner workings of a glamorous, high profile, and complicated family which, at the center of their universe, is one with a huge heart and a lot of love. The novel offers a dramatic peek into the lives of a trio of sibling celebrities who are not always as they appear in the Hollywood gossip magazines."

So this is not really a fiction novel, as the sisters claim. It's just a thinly-disguised autobiography that tries to make the sisters look better than they really are - there is no heart or love in this book (or the sisters themselves)

An exciting creative fictionalized debut “Dollhouse: A Novel” authored by Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian tells the fun and fascinating inside story of the Romero sisters and their friends and family before the sister’s became famous.

Following the tragic death of her film producer husband, Kat Romero invested the life insurance proceeds to open her popular Café Romero in West Hollywood, CA. Her beautiful daughters Kamille, Kassie, and Kyle Romero waitressed and worked numerous chores in the restaurant. Kassie, a serious academically minded student was attending the Marshall School of Business. Kyle, the youngest sister was still mourning the loss of her father, and was having difficulty staying on track with her studies at school. Kat and her famous second husband Beau LeBlanc, were loving and engaged parents.
The life of this hardworking close-knit family was changed drastically when Kamille was discovered by British modeling agent Giles Sinclair. The family was followed by reporters and their lives are tracked by tabloid/social media as Kamille rose to celebrity status as a supermodel. With Kamille’s quick romance and engagement to celebrity athlete Chase Goodall, she felt like the luckiest woman in the world, though there were those who seemed unable to celebrate the happiness of this new couple.

With widespread appeal and natural talent found in the authorship and good (autobiographical) storyline, there was still a need for increased professional editing. Both the plot and characters needed a stronger base development and dimension. The dialogue was great and fun to read, the re-occurring theme of family love, loyalty, and the soothing comfort of forgiveness may encourage fans to look ahead for the possibility of a sequel. 3* GOOD. ~ With thanks to the Seattle Public Library.
