The look is great and is portrayed correctly in comparison to the picture. The heal is long about 4" with a regular slender heel. If you're not use to wearing anything above 2 1/2" for a heel, you might want to practice walking in them a bit as a safety precaution. Otherwise, they are great and perfect for nighttime outtings. A wise purchase.
