4.0 out of 5 stars Convinient & portable
The Dolphin 007 spy camera is a very versatile digital camera, although it is more a toy than a tool. The pictures are grainy, especially in low resolution mode or under low light conditions, but I do recommend the Dolphin as a something you can carry with you just about anywhere, in your purse, pocket, etc. Its size makes it discreet, but the beep noises after every...

[...] It takes 20 pictures on High Resolution which is really the only setting you will want to use. The resolution is very low so the pictures are grainy. The pocket size is nice and compact but spy camera? I don't think so. The camera beeps alot which tends to attract attention. Not useful for serious photography because of the low resolution but still it does what...

3.0 out of 5 stars F-L-A-S-H, July 26, 2001
This review is from: Dolphin 007 Spy Cam Pocket Digital Camera (Electronics)
It will certainly impress your friends and co-workers, but the pictures are LOW quality and are suitable for casual-use only. If you want to have a fun but NOT SERIOUS camera, buy this product. If you would like some decent pictures, fork out some more dough. My MAIN complaint about this camera is that it has NO FLASH. This is A LOT more annoying then one would think. Not every good photo-op has great lighting. This camera needs a lot of light too. In fact, if the camera thinks there is not enough light, it WILL NOT LET YOU SHOOT! Think twice about your needs, toy or serious.

The pictures are grainy, especially in low resolution mode or under low light conditions, but I do recommend the Dolphin as a something you can carry with you just about anywhere, in your purse, pocket, etc. Its size makes it discreet, but the beep noises after every exposure and with every time its goes to sleep keeps it from being ultimately clandestine. I would recommend using rechargeable AAA batteries, since it eats batteries even when not in use (or simply remove them when you won't be using it for a while, although this clears the memory). All around, a great camera for candid moments.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't Bother!, September 22, 2001

This camera ....you have to be outside or have very terrific lighting for pictures to turn out sort of good. It does eat batteries!!! To top it off now the connection on the side has colapsed! No longer will work. We have had this camera 8 months & are so disappointed. We have learned you get what you pay for. Shopping for a new name brand digital camera today!

I loved this digital camera!! It works awesome for what you paid for it. The digital camera is great for online meetings. The only set back is that is has no flash, therefore you cant take pictures when it is dark.

This camera is awsome for its price! .... it works better than most web cams!! It doesn't have a flsh so it just wont take a picture if it's dark. But the pictures are a pretty good size and good for email and ur own albums on your computer. Its USB technology is great! All the pictures upload in less than 2 seconds. I recomend this camera if you want both a web cam and a digital. You wont be sorry you bought this camera!!! Trust me

The Dolphin spy cam is fun to use and is so small that you usually have it with you when a picture moment arrives. The quality of photos is low but OK for email. It won't take the place of a "real" camera but for the price, you will have a lot of fun with it.

this camera is horrible. If I could rate it "negative stars" I would. No flash, won't take a pic w/out a TON of light, pictures are grainy. DON'T BOTHER!!

4.0 out of 5 stars MMM... Gadgets, August 1, 2001
This review is from: Dolphin 007 Spy Cam Pocket Digital Camera (Electronics)
Gotta love my gadgets, and this one is no exception. altho the pictures are not of the best quallity they are good enuff for emails etc. the battery life is very limited (about 2-4 weeks depending on use and brand) the only thing that reallgets me is the lack of flash, but you cant ask too much of such a small (and cheap camera)

3.0 out of 5 stars A Cool Camera, But Loves Batteries, July 25, 2003
By
Marilyn Lang (Huntsville, Alabama USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Dolphin 007 Spy Cam Pocket Digital Camera (Electronics)
This camera is very unique, because it is very small and slender (so small, that is can fit easily in a shirt or pant pocket. You will probably like it most because of that fact. It is digital, so you can load pictures on your camera just by plugging the USB cable into the camera and the computer. One annoying thing about the camera is that it uses batteries up very fast. It doesn't have a power button, so you have to wait about a minute for it to go off. The pictures only look clear when they are small, because the camera doesn't have high resolution like other digital cameras. Other than these things, it is a good camera, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a digital camera.
