I bought the NUI Dolphin after waiting a year for a quality waterproof MP3 to come out. It has not disappointed.
Pros: -Light and Small -Clips on to goggles so no worries about getting tangled in wires while swimming. -Has good sound -Easy to load songs (drag and drop using Windows Explorer, no software to install) Cons: -First pair of included waterproof headphones did not produce sound in one ear. After contacting NUI, they were promptly replaced free of charge. -While over all it is a good place for an MP3 while swimming, having the player clipped to goggles in front of a swimmer's ear hurts one's ability to execute proper streamline technique off the walls (can't be tight against the ears). For rec swimmers this is not a big issue, but for competitive swimmers this might lead to poor habits. Overall this is a well made product that has made lap swimming much more enjoyable for me.

I just bought this item after doing A LOT of research on waterproof MP3 players and LOVE IT. I was also considering the Finis SwiMP3 V2, but didn't want to look like a total geek wearing the "headphones," so I went with the Dolphin.
Take everyone's advice!! You must screw the headphone jack in all the way as tight as possible. I've had this player for 2 weeks and not a problem, but I did everything the directions said and what others said. If you just plug it in, like an iPod or other MP3 player and don't screw it in, it will fill with water and break. Also, the headphones fit very far into your ear. Like others, I found it a little uncomfortable at first, but within 10 minutes, didn't notice anything. The headphones act as earplugs as well, which gets rid of all other noise. If you are like me and can't stand working out without music, you need one of these. I find it passes the time faster, I get into a better rhythm. I am only a recreational swimmer and do not compete. Personally, I don't notice the player on my goggles at all when I'm swimming... but I clip my player as close to my left ear as possible, so it doesn't get in the way of my arms. The white clips also help keep the wires from your headphone around your head so your arms don't snag them. The player includes extra underwater headphones in case your first ones stop working. I also find that it helps to turn on the player first before putting the headphones in. Somehow the suction seems to work better when the player is on. Also, make sure your ears are dry before putting them in. Keeps the water away from the ear piece. I love this product and highly suggest it. I will update this review in a couple months if anything goes wrong. Good price too!

I bought the 1GB version several months ago. The manual needs to be downloaded but does not really need to be read. It comes w/ its own USB cable and water resistant headphones in 2 lengths. The shorter one is for mounting on a goggle strap, and the longer one is for the arm band. I much prefer using the armband because I can see the controls.
The device allows activation for audible[...]. I use the device to listen podcasts (mp3 files) while I swim. But, I have found that the earphones do not last very long. I think they lose their water seal and then become nearly useless. I would like to get replacement headphones but I have not been able to find any.
